Good News for me, my project on Urban Inundation got accepted by the IAHR Young Professionals Congress. I'm going to be speaking to professionals from around the world in a conference next week π―π€.
I initially didn't want to apply because I felt my project couldn't be accepted but my friend hit my head and gave a soft speech on how you should always believe in yourself.

The Sad Part
It just sometimes always feels like when things are falling in place for me, that's when bad things tend to happen.
My laptop got bad a few days ago and I thought it would be something minor I could repair but turns out the motherboard is very bad and the solution is to get a new laptop instead of trying to resurrect it.
I had been feeling bad and lost. it almost feels like I'm alone in this world because I struggled a lot this year and I just hoped I would at least enjoy the upcoming holidays but now I have to start thinking of how to raise the sum to get a new laptop. Sad stuff
Positivity
Honestly, I'm not sure what to do nor who to turn to but I just know it'll be alright. After ranting here, I think I'd first get a good meal then sleep. When I wake up, I'll think of something to do. I just believe this would be sorted out in the most unforseen way. Problems don't last and sometimes it's just how to react to problems that determines your level of discipline and how quick you find a solution.
